Text Box: DINING & KITCHEN TABLE This table was custom made for a client who wanted a big dining table but had limited space. The solution resulted in two smaller tables that can be put together as one for special occasions. The kitchen table and dining table combined have a surface area of 1m by 2,5m. The design had to be made out of one piece of cherry wood of 1m by 4 m (standard for wood). During the design process different paper and wooden scale models were used. The final design was built and is now in use.
