Text Box: USER RESEARCH: HOME ATMOSPHERE SYSTEM For dr. ir. Martijn Vastenburg of Industrial Design Engineering of the technical university of Delft I set up and performed two user tests with a living room atmosphere system. The tests were performed in the faculty’s Homelab which is a living room environment suitable for scientific research. The athmosphere system consisted of lights, music and projected wall art. During the first project 10 couples had to spend one night in the Homelab of ID-Studiolab and use the system during their activities. In the second project people had to evaluate three different interfaces for the system control.
